One player cries and fans can't let it go. Tim Tebow wasn't the only Gator crying after Alabama's 32-13 dismantling, but some Facebookers are fired up about Tebow's free-flowing tears because Tebow had two national titles already. Spare me, some say.

My theory: Tebow felt the burden of this season's expectations and felt he let people down. The realization of the loss crushed him. Dude, you're allowed to cry. Let's move on.

Good report today from the New York Times on the NCAA's recent probe into the Tennessee football program. So Tennessee has at least six secondary NCAA violations and uses pretty hostesses to attract recruits. Secondary violations are a slap on the wrist until you start abusing them and stop taking them seriously. It's pretty obvious Tennessee has done that while the NCAA is entering the homes of recruits. The NCAA is thinking — you don't care about our rules, so we'll travel the country talking to recruits who might burn you.
